Do you know what happened to the economy during the pandemic?

 Well, the international market scenario was marked by major changes. Some sectors were badly affected and others favored, which ended up affecting the countries' economy and had a decisive effect on GDP and inflation.


Many companies went bankrupt, but those that survived are even stronger. This is because they reinvented themselves and managed to rise. 


During the pandemic, essential service sectors were virtually unaffected by the crisis. On the contrary, essential services were further stimulated, due to the high demand during social isolation, such as:

Service sectors (telecommunications);

 Public Services (sanitation);

Energy Transmitters.

On the other hand, some sectors were severely affected by social isolation, as they were prevented from working, such as:


Aviation;

Tourism;

Bars and restaurants;

Shopping malls;

Clothing.

But what has changed directly? Did the population really modify the services of interest?


Yes, for example conscious consumption is a change of mindset that tends to install itself in the market. Increasingly the impacts generated on the environment are being taken into account.


Another sector that was influenced was health, due to the fact that sick people were more susceptible to the virus. The investment in improving the quality of life has been significant and linked to a healthy lifestyle.


What has changed in business models with the pandemic?
